Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government and Geography.

Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects.
For NBC holders, the other two relevant subjects could be from any of Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial Duties .

Mathematics, Economics plus any Social Science subject.

DIRECT ENTRY
(i) ABU accepts
(a) NCE with passes at merit level in relevant subjects.
(b) Two 'A' level passes in Accouting or Economics and any one other subject
(c) Foundation of professional examination suh as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA
(ii) merit pass in ABU Diploma in Accounting, Banking or Insurance.
(iii) ANSU accepts OND/HND LOWER CREDIT or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
(iv) BIU, ADSU, UNIZIK, ABSU, MADONNA and ANSU accept OND/NCE in the relevant fields. UNIZIK and ABSU also accept HND. UNIZIK and ANSU accept OND/HND with at least a lower credit pass.
(v) RSUST accepts holders of the following qualifications for year II:-
(a)OND/ND, RSUST Diploma (Upper) in relevant fields;
(b) A Degree/HND in any relevant field;
(vi) IMSU and PHC - No Direct Entry.
(vii)BAYERO accepts 'D' grade in 'A' level papers.
(viii) UMUDIKE, ABSU and DELSU accept holders of the following qualifications:-
(a) Complete pass in the Intermediate ICAN Examination or equivalents; and
(b) Pass in final exams of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries (except UYO and DELSU) plus UTME requirements.
(ix) OAU, UNAD, DELSU, & UYO accept OND/HND in relevant fields not below Upper Credit level. (CALABAR accepts HND at lower credit level plus UTME requirements. In addition, UNAD insists on 'A' level passes in Econs but does not accepts IJMB
(x) UNIZIKdoes not accept Government or Geography. All Direct Entry candidates must satisfy UTME requirements.
(xi) OAU requires ‘A’ level passes in Economics and Maths or any Social Science subject.
(xii) UNIZIKand OOU require at least two ‘A’ level passes to include Accounting (or Economics for UNIZIK). UNIZIKand ESUTECH require that Direct Entry applicants possess UTME requirements.
(xiii) UNN accepts:
(a) Two 'A' level passes chosen from Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government and Geography.
(b) HND/OND/NCE in relevant fields
(c) The following qualifications with UTME require ment:
(i) Complete pass in the Intermediate ICAN examination or equivalents.
(ii) Pass in final exams of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.

(d) UNN accepts relevant recognized university Diploma.

(xiv) BAYERO and LAGOS accept own Diploma in Accounting.
(xv) EBSU accepts:
a) OND/ND, lower credit;
b) A Degree/HND in relevant fields from recognised Institutions.
It does not accept 'A' level GCE in Govt. and Geog.
(xvi) BIU accept:
a) OND/Recognised University Diploma at credit level.
b) A/L passes in Accounting, Econs, Maths andBusiness Management.
(xvii) UDU accepts:
(a) Credit in Accounts in lieu of Economics
(b) ND in relevant field not below lower credit
(c) NCE (Business Education).
(xviii) IGBINEDION accepts ND (Credit) in related fields.
(xix) BAYERO accepts own Diploma in Accounting/Au diting and Advanced Diploma in Auditing/Accounting.
(xxi) NDU - No Director Entry.
(xxii) BSU accepts ND/NCE (Upper credit/Merit level) plus five 'O' level requirements to include Economics at one sitting.
(xxiii) OAU accepts OND in Accounting with minimum of upper credit. ICAN/ACCA examination at professional level or ATS (Stage III) examination of ICAN
(xxiv) ABUJA accept 'A' level pass in Geology.
(xxv) MADONNA accepts own Diploma in Account- ing/Banking and Finance.
(xxvii) NASARAWA accepts ND/HND in relevant field not below lower credit; IJMB in relevant subject not below 10 point; NCE in Business Education
(xxviii) UYO accepts OND/HND in relevant fields. All Direct Entry candidates must satisfy UTME requirement.
(xxix) OOU accepts own Diploma in related discipline.
(xxx) AUN same as in Finance
(xxxi) UYO accepts OND/HND un relevant fields. All Direct Entry candidates must satisfy UTME requirement.
UTME:
(i)UYO requires credit in Economics.
(ii)NDU and PHC do not accept commercial subjects except Financial Accounting or Business.
(iii) LAGOS requires five'O' level credits to include English language, Mathematics, Economics and any other Science, Social Science or Arts subject.
(iv) PHC does not accept Office Practice and Secretarial Studies.
(v) BIU accepts credit/merit in English language and Mathematics at TC II as 'O'/level equivalent.
(vi) OOU requires 'O' level credits in any 3 of Accounting, Business Methods,Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Government and Geography. IRK/CRK, Yoruba and History.
(vii) CALABAR accepts Commerce in place ofEconomics
(viii) AUN same as in Finance
(ix) UNN requires Five O' level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics Economics and any other two relevant subjects. For NBC holders, the other two relevant subjects could be from any of Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial Duties.

UTME: SUBJECTS:
(i) OAU requires Principle of Account not Commerce
(ii) BSU require Economics.
(iii) CALABAR and IGBINEDION accept Commerce in lieu of Economics.
(iv) CALABAR does not accept CRK.
(v) OOU does not insist on Economics.
(vi) LAGOS accepts Economics, Mathematics and any Science, Social Science or Arts subject.
(vii) AUN same as in Finance

Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography and Statistics.

Five SSCE credits to include English Language,
Economics and Government. For NBC holders, theother relevant subjects could be from any of the following: Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, OfficePractice and Secretarial Duties.

DIRECT ENTRY:
(i) ESUTECH accepts OND or its equivalent. and requires Direct Entry applicants to possess UTME requirements.
(ii) UNIZIK does not accept Geography.
(iii) ANSU accepts NCE (Govt.) or OND Public Admin with lower credit.
(iv) BIU and UNN accept Diploma, Advanced Diploma or HND in Public Admin with minimum of merit.
(v) UDU accepts:
a) History/Social Studies or Sociology in lieu of Government
b) ND in Public Administration not below lower creidt.
(vi) BIU and ADSU accept OND/HND/NCE - minimum of credit level in appropriate subject
(vii) GSU - as in Political Science
(viii) BENIN accepts it own Diploma with merit level pass
(ix) NASARAWA accept History in lieu of Government.
(x) EBSU accepts 'A' Level Mathematics Government or History, Literature in English Language. Accepts OND/HND from recognised institution.
(xi) O.A.U. accepts History.
(x) UNN accepts for a 3 year programme (Direct Entry) candidates to possess one of the following qualifications:
(i) Two GCE (A/L) passes or its equivalent in any of the following subjects; Government, History,Economics, Business Management, Accounting and Geography plus UTME requirement.
(ii) OND from recognized institutions in Law, Secretarial Studies or its equivalent at merit level plus UTME requirement.
(iii) Diploma in Public Administration and Social Work of the University of Nigeria or Higher National Diploma of recognized institutions with a minimum of merit/lower credit level pass plus UTME requirement.
(iv) Possesssion of Government is not a pre-requisite for 3 year Direct Entry candidates

 

UTME:
(i)UNIZIK,ANSU and ESUTECH require ‘O’ level credits to include Mathematics.
(ii) ABU does not accept a combination of Local Languages and Religious Knowledge.
(iii)ABUJA and UNN require a pass in Mathematics.
(iv)EBSU requires credit in Mathematics.
(v)NASARAWA accepts two 'A' level or IJMB passes chosen from Accounts, Busniess Management, Government and Statistics; NCE Government or ND Public Administration with at least lower credit.
(vi)UNN requires minimum entry requirement plus credit level pass in English Language, Government or History and Mathematics at SSCE or GCE O' level.

UTME SUBJECTS
(i)UNIZIK requires Maths, Econs and any other Arts or Social Science subject. Geography is not acceptable.
(ii)EBSU - Same as in Political Science.
(iii)AAUA accepts any three Arts or Social Science subjects.
