ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

2.0.02 FIRST DEGREE HOLDERS

A limited number of good first degree holders who have completed the National Youth Service Corps programme may be accepted by some universities into the Law and Medical Science programmes.  The following Universities will accept candidates with first class/second class upper degree for Law or Medical Science programmes.

2.2.00 PECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER INFORMATION FOR INDIVIDUAL UNIVERSITIES.

2.2.01 BENSON IDAHOSA UNIVERSITY

  1. Regulations governing admission into First Degree programmes in Benson Idahosa University are as follows:

 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least five SSCE/NECO/GCE 'O' level credits at not more than two sittings.
2. Degree of University recognised by Senate of the University.
3. Diplomas (OND/HND) and NCE in relevant fields not below Upper Credit level.
4. Five credits/merit passes in Teachers Grade II examination in relevant subjects (for entries into the faculties of Arts, Education and Social Sciences only).

(b) English Language Requirements:

The following are acceptable as fulfilling the English Language requirement apart from SSCE credit pass except where otherwise stated in departmental requirements:

(i) NCE English Language/General paper
(ii) Credit/merit pass in Teachers Grade II English Language.

 
2.2.02 UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN

(a) University of Ibadan require all candidates applying for admission into any of its courses to possess at least Five (5) SSCE credit passes at one sitting including English Language and Matehmatics except when stated otherwise.

2.4.03 UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, LAGOS

  (I) University of Lagos requires all candidates applying for admission into any of its courses to possess at least five (5) SSCE credit passes in relevant subjects at one sittiing including Mathematics and English Language.

(II) DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION

(a) Accepts Own diploma plus UTME requirements for all Direct Entry Admissions.

(b) holders of first degree who have completed NYSC programme with first class/second clas upper may be accepted for Law or Medical Science programmes. Candidates must have the UTME requirements.

i. Literature in English Language is not a requirement for graduate candidates seeking direct admission into the Faculty of Law.

ii. For admission into Medicine and Surgery, only degrees in relevant field will be accepted.

(c) 2/3 A' level passes which must be at a minimum of grade 'C' plus  the UTME requirements.

(d)  The following 2/3 year Diploma/Certificate are acceptable
provided the candidates have the UTME requirements.

i. UNILAG 2-year Diploma in Social Development and
Administration at CGPA of 3.50 for B.Sc. Sociology

2.1.04 OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY, ILE-IFE

 

(a)  The University does not accept a pass in English Language for admission to any programme.However it accepts Teacher Grade II (TC II) for B.A. Educ/B.Ed degree only.

 

(b)  A pass in the General Paper at the Principal Level of the Higher School Certificate is regarded as equivalent to an Ordinary Level credit pass in English Language.

(c) For Direct Entry.


(i) OAU requires a minimum of three A/Level Science subjects as indicated. OND/HND ( Upper Credit) as indicated in apropriate cases for candidates seeking admission into the Faculties of
Environmental Design and Management, Health Science, Pharmacy and Technology.

 

(ii) For Admission into the Faculty of Education, Two Teaching subjects from Colleges of Education are required. The Faculty does not accept Guidance and Counselling as a Teaching subject.

 

(iii) NCE Holders from Colleges of Education, affiliated colleges of Education and none affiliated ones will be admitted into Part II.

 

2.4.05   UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA.

 

(a) University of Nigeria, Nsukka requires all candidates applying for admission into any of its courses to possess a pass in English Language and a Science subject. The acceptable Science subjects are:-

2.4.06   COVENANT UNIVERSITY

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Credit passes in the Senior Secondary School (S.S.S.) Certificate, or it equivalent in relevant subject areas in addition to acceptable pass in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination , are the qualifications for admission into the four (4) year degree programmes of Covenant university.

(ii) Convenant University does not admit through Direct Entry.

 

(iii) English Language Requirement
In all cases, whether by Direct Entry or UTME, credit pass in Mathematics and English Language at the Senior School Certificate or equivalent are required for all courses in Covenant University.

 

2.2.07   Universities of Agriculture., MAKURDI

Holders of the following qualifications may be considered for Direct Entry (D/E):- OND/HND/NCE (Credit/Merit) in Agriculture.

The University of Agriculture, Abeokuta requires all candidates to possess at least 5 SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
However, Pass in Physics is acceptable for Agricultural programmes except Water Resources Management and Agro meteorology, where credit in Geography is mandatory. Also Agricultural Programmes require a minimum of a pass in Biology and credit in Agricultural Science or vice versa.

 

2.2..08 FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY,  AKURE
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

a) accepts a minimum of credit pass in English Language at 'O' level in all courses.
b)   accepts a minimum of pass at Upper Credit level of National Diploma for Direct Entry candidates from NBTE accredited institutions.
c)   Advanced 'A' Level candidates must have at least 6 points

2.2.10   SALEM UNIVERSITY, LOKOJA
The section on "Combined Degrees" is designed to foster the niche for the University that was outlined in the Academic Brief and approved by the National Universities Commission. In particular, the selected combined degrees seek to empower generational leaders with balanced comprehensive curricula which will make them job creators rather than job seekers, hence the role of information technology and business/managerial aspects has been priotized in the combinations and this will make Salem University graduate highly vocationalised in entrepreneurial skills.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

2.2.13   FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES, EFFURUM

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

i. All admissions into FUPRE are strictly and exclusively through UTME
ii. FUPRE does not admit student via Direct Entry into 200 Level and above
iii. FUPRE requires all candidates applying for admission to possess a minimum of five (5) SSCE credit passes at one sitting in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

 

2.2.14   UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A pass at credit Level in English Language and Mathematics is required for admission into all courses. An ordinary pass in Mathematics may be accepted for LAW and all ARTS based courses.

 

 

 

2.2.15   UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

(a) University of Ilorin requires all candidates for admission into its MBBS to have five (5) credits in One sitting including English Language, Physics, Chemistry , Biology and Mathematics

2.2.16 VERITAS UNIVERSITY, ABUJA

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

(i) A minimum standard of five (5) credits at not more than two sittings, including English in all courses. For all Science Courses, candidates must have credits in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For Management and Social Sciences, candidates requires five (5) credits pass to include English and Mathematics. For courses in Economics, candidates must have credit in Economics and for other Social Science Courses, e.g. Political Science/Sociology. Candidates must have a pass in Mathematics.

  1. Grade II Teacher's Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in at least five (5) subjects.

 

iii) National Teaching Certificate (NTC), National Business Certificate (NBC) with credit passes in five (5) subjects relevant to the course and obtained at not more than two sittings. For the purpose of NTC/NBC, a credit in any General Education subjects, trade related subjects and trade component subjects is equivalent to a credit in a subject.

ENTRY BY DIRECT APPLICATION (DE)

Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission. However, the University will not admit into 200 level in its first two years of operation.
i) A minimum of five (5) subjects passes at not more than two sittings with at least two at the Principal or Advanced level of the GCE and the others, at credit level of the SSCE/GCE O/Level, NTC/NBC. No subject shall be counted at both Ordinary and Advanced levels.

ii) Passes in two major subjects in the NCE with S.S.C. O/Level, NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses). Education may be accepted as a third A/Level subject for those taking course in Education.

iii) Two passes at the IJMB examination or Cambridge moderated Schools of Basic Studies terminal examination or International Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with SSCE/GCE O/Level, NTC/NBC credits or equivalent in three other subjects (SUBJECT TO UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS).

iv) First Degree holders.

 

2.2.17 KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Kaduna State University requires all candidates applying for admission of its courses to possess at least five (5) SSCE credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings including English Language. A credit in Mathematics is required for all Science as well as Social and Management Science courses. At least a pass is required for all Arts courses.

The University accepts 'O' level results of WAEC and NECO only for admission into all its programmes. The University does not accept Direct Entry candidates, and hence all candidates must come through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The University does not accept Agricultural Science, Home Management and Food and Nutrition for admission into any of its programmes for now.

 

 

2.2. 18 AJAYI CROWTHER UNIVERSITY (ACU), OYO

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All candidates applying for admission into any 100 level undergraduate programme of ACU must possess a minimum of five (5) SSCE credit passes at one sitting or six (6) SSCE credit passes at not more than two sittings at SSCE, GCE, NECO or its equivalent. One of the credit passes must be in English Language while the candidates, should in addition, satisfy the specific requirements for each programme. All candidates are expected to obtain JAMB admission form for UTME or Direct Entry and make Ajayi Crowther their first choice University and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME)

2.2. 19 UNIVERSITY OF ADO-EKITI

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(i) Please note that all the five SSCE credit passes requirements for all programmes in the University of Ado-Ekiti should be at one sitting.

(ii) UNAD accepts a minimum of Upper Credit for OND/ND Programmes
(iii) UNAD accepts only Social Science subjects for UTME for all courses in the Social Sciences.
(iv) UNAD does not accept I.J.M.B.

 

 

2.2.20 UNIVERSITY OF PORT-HARCOURT

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

For all the candidates wishing to offer a course under the Faculty of Education, an SSCE credit Pass in Mathematics is compulsory.

 

2.2.21 UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

University of Calabar accepts five SSCE credit passes at  only one sitting and must be up to six credit passes if it is two sittings. It does no accept IJMB.

2.2.22 CARITAS UNIVERSITY,
AMORJI-NIKE, ENUGU

SPECIFIC ENTRY REQUIREMENT

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

1. UTME: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two of the following:- Chemistry, Biology and Additional Mathematics in not more than two sittings of SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents for admission into any of the Programmes of the Faculty.

2. DIRECT ENTRY: "A" level passes in any two of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology plus three other "O" level subjects passed at credit level OR. ND at credit level obtained from a recognized Polytechnic plus three other SSCE subjects passed at credit level.

FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

1. UTME: Five SSCE credit passes in English Language and Mathematics plus three other subjects from the following: Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing and Fine Arts, in not more than two sittings in SSSCE/WAEC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents for admission into any of the Programmes of the Faculty.

2. DIRECT ENTRY: "A" level passes in any two of the following: Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Physics and Biology OR. ND at credit level pass obtained from a recognized Polytechnic plus three other SSCE subjects passed at credit level.

FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

A. MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME:

1. UTME: Five SSCE passes at credit level in English Language,
Mathematics and three other subjects from Economics, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Commerce and Government are required for admission into Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration ,Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and Marketing.

2. DIRECT ENTRY: "A" level passes in any two of the following subjects: Mathematics, Economics, Government, and Commerce OR ND at credit level pass obtained from a recognized Polytechnic plus three other SSCE subjects passed at credit level.

B. SOCIAL SCIENCE AND ARTS PROGRAMMES:
1. UTME: Five SSCE passes at credit level in English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects from Literature in English, Economics, Government, Biology, Agricultural Science are required for admission into English Language, Economics, Mass Communication, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.
English Language and Mass Communication Programmes require credit passes in Literature in English while Economics Programme requires credit pass in Economics at SSCE.

2. DIRECT ENTRY: "A" level passes in two relevant Arts or Social Science subjects OR, ND in relevant programe at credit level pass plus three other SSCE subjects passed at credit levels.

FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES
1. UTME: Five SSCE passes at credit level in English Language and Mathematics plus three other subjects from - Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Agricultural Science and Additional Maths   obtained in not more than two sittings in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents are required for admission into Biochemistry, Computer Science, Industrial Chemistry, Information Technology, Microbiology, Mathematics and Statistics.

2. DIRECT ENTRY: "A" level passes in any two of the following: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics. OR ND with credit pass from a recognized Polytechnic plus three SSCE subjects passed at credit levels.

2.2.23 TAI SOLARIN UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, 
 IJEBU-ODE,

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The admission requirements for Bachelor's Degree Programme for both U.M.E. and Direct Entry Candidates are as follows:

FOR UTME 4-YEAR PROGRAMME*

1. WAEC/NECO Senior School Certificate (SSC), General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O'Level), or their equivalents with credits in five (5) subjects obtained at one sitting or six (6) credits at not more than two sittings. National Technical Certificate/National Business Certificate (NTC/NBC) is acceptable for Vocational courses only.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY 3-YEAR PROGRAMME*

2. Nigeria Certificate in Education (N.C.E.) with at least Merit in 2 core subjects, GCE A'Level, HND (for some courses) in relevant areas with at least Upper credit, Cambridge (A level) Certificate, Academic Diploma from recognized Universities (for some courses) (in relevant areas) are required in addition to (1) for Direct Entry. SPECIAL COURSES REQUIREMENTS

1. A credit in O'Level Mathematics is required for all Sciences, Vocational and Technical and Social Science-based courses.

2. Credit in Literature in English is required for English Language.
3. A credit in at least one science subject is required for Mathematics.
4. Candidates wishing to study Educational Management should have obtained credit in English Language, Mathematics and Economics at the Ordinary Level.

5. Credits in any two (2) of Geography, Economics, Government, Commerce, Christian Religious Knowledge, Islamic Religious Knowledge, History and Yoruba are acceptable for the study of Social Studies.

6. Candidates wishing to study Guidance & Counseling with teaching subject options in science and social sciences must have credit in Mathematics.
7. Candidate wishing to study Mass Communication must have at least a pass in Literature in English.

 

2.2.24 AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY, IKOT AKPADEN,
 AKWA IBOM STATE

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
GENERAL UNIVERSITY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

i. Admission into the Akwa Ibom State University shall be through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) or Direct Entry (DE). In addition to attaining the general required standard in UTME, candidates must satisfy the general University entry requirements as well as specific Faculty/School and Programmes requirements.

ii The candidates must be over 16 years of age by 1st of October in the year of admission.
iii. Candidates must possess at least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.

iv. Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) Certificate with passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered. No subject may be counted at both TC II AND GCE O/L.

A DIRECT ENTRY

Candidates for Direct Entry (DE) admission must possess any of the following qualifications:
i. Two (2) passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents in relevant subjects and at least credit passes in three (3) other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE. SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two sittings.

ii. Three (3) passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents in relevant subjects and at least credit passes in two (2) other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two sittings.

iii. Two passes at merit level or above in two (2) recognized NCE, OND or HND subjects and at least three credit passes in other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two sittings.

B OTHER ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
i. A pass in general paper at HSC or approved equivalent examinations shall not be accepted as a substitute for a credit pass in English language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.

ii. Interviews may be conducted as a component of the admission process in addition to UTME or Direct entry by JAMB.

SPECIFIC FACULTY AND DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

 

C FACULTY OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES

  ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general University entry requirements, candidates must possess any of the following:
i) At least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents including English Language, Mathematics and any 2 or 3 other relevant subjects at not more than 2 sittings.
ii) At least two (2) passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents and at least credit passes in 3 other relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.

iii) At least two (2) passes at merit level or above in two (2) relevant subjects at NCE, OND, HND or approved equivalents and at least credit passes in three (3) relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.

D. FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general University entry requirements, candidates must possess any of the following:
i. Five credit passes at not more than 2 sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at WASCE. SSCE, GCE, NECO or approved equivalents.

ii. 2 A/L passes in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or approved equivalents and at least 3 credit passes including English Language at WASCE, SSCE. GCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.

iii. OND at upper credit and above in relevant subjects in addition to UTME entry requirements in (i) above.
iv. HND at least lower credit and above in addition to UTME entry requirements in (i) above.

E. FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general University entry requirements, c andidates must possess any of the following:
i. At least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings.

ii.  At least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents including English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics and any other subject with at least a pass in Physics at not more than 2 sittings. A pass in Biology is mandatory for candidates with credit pass in Agricultural Science.

iii. At least 2 A/L passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents in 2 relevant subjects including Biology or Agricultural Science and Chemistry and at least credit passes in 3 other subjects including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O/L,WASCE,SSCE,NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.

iv. At least 2 passes at merit level or above in 2 relevant subjects including Biology or Agricultural Science and Chemistry at NCE, HND or approved equivalents and at least credit passes in 3 other subjects including English Language and Mathematics at GCL O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.

F. FACULTY OF OCEAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general University entry requirements, candidates must possess any of the following:
i. At least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings including English Language, Mathematics, and the core science subjects namely Biology, Chemistry and Physics. A credit pass in Geography will be an advantage.

ii. 2 A/L passes in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or approved equivalents and at least 3 credits passes including English Language at WASCE, SSCE, GCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
iii. OND at upper credit and above in relevant subjects in addition to UTME entry requirements in (i) above.

G. FACULTY OF SOCIAL AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

1.1 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1.2 GENERAL UNIVERSITY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(i) Admission into the Akwa Ibom State University shall be through Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) or Direct Entry. In addition to attaining the general required standard in UTME, candidates must satisfy the general University requirements as well as the specific School /Faculty and Programmes requirements. All admissions shall be through JAMB.

(ii) The candidate must be over 16 years of age by 1st October in the year of admission.

(iii) Candidates must possess at least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.

(iv) Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) with passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered. No subject may be counted at both TC II and GCE O/L.

 

1.3 DIRECT ENTRY

1.4 OTHER ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(i) A pass in general paper at HSC or approved equivalents would not be accepted as a substitute for a credit pass in English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.

 22.25 NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA (NOUN)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A. 100 LEVEL
i. Five credits in the SSCE/GCE O' Level/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings obtained in subjects relevant to the proposed field(s) of study.
ii. Teachers' Grade II Certificate with a minimum of five merits of its combination with any of the certificates listed under (i) to obtain equivalent of five credits at O'Levels.
iii. Candidates seeking admission into School of Law must have five (5) credits including English Language, Literature in English and at least a Pass in Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in NECO/SSCE or GCE O/L only.
iv. The School of Arts and Social Sciences requires that one of the five credits or merits must be in English Language, while at least two (2) should be in subjects relevant to the proposed field.
v. For School of Business and Human Resources Management, the credit passes must include English and Mathematics.
vi. For School of Education, the credit passes must include Mathematics for Science Education applicants and English Language for all humanities. Additionally, those in Science Education must have credit in English Language.
vii. For School of Science and Technology, the credit passes must include Mathematics and English Language.
b) 200 LEVEL (For Direct Entry)
i. National Diploma from recognized institutions.
ii. Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in subject(s) relevant to the proposed programme of study (except)Early Childhood and Primary Education Programme with a minimum of one merit and two passes.

iii. International Baccalaureates, Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) with at least two 'A' level papers in relevant subjects and pre-requisites number of 'O' level credit passes.
iv. Candidates for entry into School of Law must have a minimum of second class (lower) degree from any recognized university with at least five credits including English Language, Literature in English and a pass in Mathematics at not more than two sittings in NECO/SSCE or GCE 'O' level only.

Other Requirements
v. Five credit passes at SSCE/GCE 'O' and 'A' level must be in subjects relevant to the proposed field(s) of study.
vi. A credit level pass in Mathematics is required for all Sciences and Technology, Business Education and Science Education Programmes. A pass in Mathematics may be considered for Social Sciences Programmes. Also, a pass in English Language may be considered for Physics and Mathematics Programmes.
vii. Candidates applying for B.A English, B.A. (Ed) English and B.Sc. Mass Communication must have a credit in Literature in English.
viii. Prior knowledge and relevant work experience (including firs degree/HND/RN) may be considered for advanced placement and waiver.
ix. Candidates awaiting results of any relevant examination may also apply; they should however note that processing of application will not be completed until entry requirements are met.

h) Use your Receipt and Confirmation numbers (as contained in the E-tranzact receipt obtained at the bank) as well as the Bursary pin number to access your NOUN online application form.
i) Complete the application by providing the required information.
j) After completion, the candidate can re-open the form as often as he/she likes, before the closing date, for editing and/or additional information. However, once the completed form is submitted, the candidate can no longer have access to it for the purpose of editing and/or making additional input, but can only view the form. An acknowledgement will be sent to the candidate's e-mail address to confirm receipt of his application by NOUN.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS.

Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu requires all candidates applying for admission into any of its courses to possess credit passes in English and Mathematics plus 3 other relevant subjects.
